During our English Day 2025 event, themed "The Magic of Myths," visitors dove into a captivating atmosphere that explored the origins of various cultural beliefs about how the world was created.

The exhibitions showcased the incredible hard work of our participants, who had been gearing up since the previous month. Clubs united students of different grades and ages, collaborating on exciting projects.

The seniors of 2025 chose the theme "Myths." Every year, the 11th graders step up to lead, assigning tasks to younger members to craft a competitive game plan against other clubs.

A Chance for Holistic Assessment

This experience was packed with opportunities for both formative and summative assessment. Teachers kept a watchful eye on team performance throughout the process using digital rubrics and forms. Judges accessed an app with specific criteria to evaluate each club’s exhibition, ensuring fair and thorough selection of winners based on their results.

This journey wouldn’t have been possible without our special guests, including local and international visitors like Allison Robertson and Angela McClenton from the USA, along with former Jose Antonio Galan school students.

And let’s not forget the invaluable support from our teaching staff, the principal, coordinators, parents, the cleaning crew, and our families.

Efforts Leading Up to the Event

All club members poured their energy and resources into preparing for the final presentation. English teachers and students came in over the previous weekend, working hard to decorate the rooms and create a vibe that reflected their assigned subtopics.

Final Exhibition

On September 29, 2025, each club showcased their mythical atmosphere settings in designated classrooms, engaging with students and judges in English. This year, the Nordic team took home the win, earning a bonus and a prize for their outstanding efforts!
